FEATURED GUESTS: Daniel Blausey, MA, ATR-BC, ATCS, LCAT (he/his), is a NYC based art therapist and the founder of Studio Blue: Creative Arts Therapy PLLC. For over 25 years he has worked with survivors of childhood sexual abuse and adult sexual victimization, people living with HIV/AIDS, sexuality and sex positivity, and within the LGBTQ community. Daniel designed, implemented, and directed several mental health programs in NYC, including The Door and Gay Men’s Health Crisis, and has extensive supervision experience. Daniel has co-authored "Foundations of Art Therapy Supervision: Creating Common Ground for Supervisees and Supervisors".

Yasmine Awais, ATR-BC, ATCS, LCAT, LPC, is a PhD candidate in Social Welfare at the Graduate Center, City University of New York. Her research interests center diversity in the creative arts therapies and in higher education. Yasmine has published and presented nationally and internationally on supervision, cultural humility and competency. Yasmine has co-authored "Foundations of Art Therapy Supervision: Creating Common Ground for Supervisees and Supervisors" with her former supervisor Daniel Blausey.
