Amanda Kranich, mental health counselor

Life should not be this difficult. I do not want to repeat the mistakes of my parents and grandparents. I am not worthy of success or being loved. My upbringing/school/religion has affected me negatively. The anxiety/depression/ADHD is overwhelming, and I cannot get anything done. What if I told you it is possible to learn to feel worthy and accept love again? What if I told you that life can feel easy and responsibilities can be handled without being overwhelmed?
Hello, I am Amanda Kranich, MS, a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern, and I am the person in your corner rooting for you and saying your life does not have to be this experience.
All our journeys are unique yet have similar themes. We can create a plan to raise your self-worth through talk therapy, engage in exercises to support positive thinking or utilize art to support new self-messages.
Trauma from family conflict, witnessing trauma first or second hand, distressful thoughts, or memories that keep repeating can be reprocessed and released through EMDR. EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) is a therapy that allows the brain to connect to the distressing event and reprocess the information so the repeating theme or behaviors do not affect you as severely or at all.

If you struggle to accomplish goals or complete tasks, especially if you are managing ADHD, we can use solution-focused practices to help get you to your goal. I will explore and research additional services or supports to better align with your needs in therapy.

My services are offered during the week in the afternoon and evenings. I primarily work with adults and adolescents ages 12 and up. Workshops are offered on weekends. Please look for those events on our website and social media pages.

Amanda is now accepting new clients at a service rate of $135 a session as a Register Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern IMH#26007 and is available to schedule with clients on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30-6:30 pm.
